Introducing Honey Body Care

Why Honey Body Care?

I am Alessandro, the founder of Honey Body Care. Born in Northern Italy, in Trentino where honey is the depository of the scents and flowers of the Dolomites, I am passionate about honey and natural products.

I was raised in a small town, where elderly people still speak the local dialect, a mix between Latin, German, French and words made and used only in that area.

I am based in London and wanted to blend the aspects of my childhood: honey as a natural ingredient of the mountains in Trentino and dialect as the source of the name of the Honey Body Care collections.

Uniqueness, our philosophy

What I like most about dialect is that almost every small town has its own dialect. Small differences that make a person, a place, a mountain unique.

In the same way, Honey can’t be identified as a single natural product across mountains, places, countries. Honey makers can make honey from acacia, chestnut, alpine wildflowers, dandelion and more.

For Honey Body Care, we source and vet the highest quality ingredients, especially the honey.

Why Handmade soap?

Using well-made handmade soap is a gentle way of caring for our skin while using ingredients as honey and essential oils.

By choosing handmade soap we also support the artisan soap-maker who generously added his hard work, high standards, experience, hard-earned knowledge, artistic flare and passion to every bar of soap he makes.

A handmade bar of soap is always a reflection of the person and personality behind it.
