Honey is somewhat controversial food among vegans. Unlike overt animal foods like meat, eggs, and dairy, foods from insects aren’t always grouped into the vegan category.
In fact, some vegans who eat an otherwise entirely plant-based diet may opt to include honey in their diet. That said, most vegans view honey as non-vegan and avoid eating it for several reasons. For more information, see here with some vegan alternatives to honey.
Essential Oils are natural products extracted from different plants’ parts through processes such as steam distillation, solvent extraction and expressed oils. On the other hand, Fragrance oils are manufactured synthetic scents with added chemicals to enhance the aroma. They are artificially created fragrances and they contain artificial substances.
Since we use natural ingredients, especially honey, and all products are handmade, the texture and scent may slightly vary from one batch to another.
Our collections Edèa and Mèl are made in London by our founder using honey and essential oils sourced from UK suppliers.
Store in normal temperature (18°C) and keep away from direct sunlight in order for the products to stay fresh.
Opened products will last for about 6 months and is shown by the “Open jar symbol” on the packaging. Remember that our products have a shelf life (Best Before Date) of about 12 months.
Yes, our products are certified! We are proud that our handmade soaps fully comply with all legislation governing the manufacture of cosmetics in the UK. Our soap recipes are independently lab tested and certified as safe for use. Our labels use the appropriate latin-style INCI naming standards for ingredients.
Please note that although all of our products are natural, some people may have sensitivities to certain natural ingredients. If you have any concerns and have not used our products before, we would recommend that you patch test a sample on your arm prior to use to avoid any potential adverse reactions.
If you feel any hesitation, we can always recommend to stick with your usual product.
In very rare cases, if skin irritation has occurred; rinse skin with water. If you’re worried about an urgent medical concern, contact your GP or local pharmacist and take the product packaging with you which details the ingredients.
Yes. We recognise our duty of care towards future generations, delivering on our environmental promises and always encouraging others to do the same.
All our cartons are 100% recyclable. We use Clear Plastic Bottle in PET made with 10% recycled plastic from existing PET bottles and other plastics (PCR). You can recycle this material through your community recycling programs.
We look forward to use mail envelope made from Recycled Plastics. This recycled mailer gives plastics already in circulation a second life. It has a second adhesive strip so that the mailer can be reused once more, and once it has served its purpose, you can recycle it where soft plastics are accepted!

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
